Operations and Facilities: Unarco has proudly called Springfield, Tennessee, its home for more than 40 years. Its 400,000-square foot manufacturing plant and nearby assembly and storage facilities are a vital part of the community.

Environment and Community: Unarco has won multiple environmental and community awards from state and national organizations. The State of Tennessee recognized Unarco with the Governor's Award for Excellence in Hazardous Waste Management in 1992. Organizations such as the U.S. Department of Labor and the American Legion have honored Unarco with awards for employing U.S. veterans, older workers, and the disabled. In 2000, Unarco invested in two multi-million dollar powder coat paint lines, which significantly reduced its generation of hazardous waste. Most recently Unarco has joined with the University of Tennessee to determine whether powder paint waste granules can be used to enhance microbial activity in soil. The company has been a member of the National Safety Council since 1966 and recently implemented a new safety program that has brought it well below the national average for work-time accidents.
