With more than 35 years of experience in the automotive industry, Lon Offenbacher has lead Inteva through a transition from an automotive components business unit in a publicly traded company to a privately held supplier for light duty, commercial, and military vehicles as well as supplying parts for the consumer goods industry. With his Executive Staff, the team achieved significant success launching Inteva, completing the acquisition of ArvinMeritor's Body Systems business, expanding the customer base, and diversifying the markets Inteva serves in just three years. Offenbacher's leadership and broad operational business experience prepared him for his current assignment. The Executive Staff he assembled has roots in a diverse range of industries, enabling Inteva to manage the company in a rapidly changing global marketplace. With his leadership, Inteva is focused on providing their global customers with competitive, reliable products and services.

Lon is a member of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) Board of Directors and the OESA CEO Council Board of Governance. He is the former Chairman of the Automotive Safety Council, an international industry group comprised of safety system and interiors manufacturers. He currently serves as a member of Automotive Safety Council's Board of Directors. From 1998 to 2004 he served as an outside director on the Board of Directors of Simula, Inc. (NYSE). Lon is the chairman of the Board of Directors for Shanghai Inteva Automotive Door Systems (SDADS), a joint venture between Inteva and Shanghai SIIC Transportation Electric Co., Ltd. (STEC), in Shanghai, China. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Korean Door Systems (KDS), a joint venture between Inteva and SL Corporation in Daegu, Korea.

Lon received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University in 1975, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Dayton in 1983. He also completed training from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management in 1996.
