The Doe Run Company
The Doe Run Company is a natural resource company focused on metals mining, smelting, recycling and fabrication. Doe Run is America's only integrated lead producer and the largest integrated lead producer in the Western Hemisphere. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, the company also has operations in Boss and Herculaneum, Missouri, Vancouver, Washington and Casa Grande, Arizona.
The Doe Run Company and its subsidiaries help meet the growing worldwide demand for metals that provide power, protection and convenience. The company's product lines include chemical and copperized lead; a variety of lead-calcium alloys; and wrought strip. These metals are used in essential products such as car batteries, computer screens and X-ray shields, as well as many other vital consumer goods, medical and environmental applications and safety-related technologies. The Company also sells copper, lead and zinc concentrates into global markets.
As a leader in the mineral and metal production industry, Doe Run also retrieves and recycles more than 150,000 tons of lead annually from manufactured products ranging from batteries to telephone cables and operates the largest, single-site lead recycling facility in the world.
The Doe Run Company began as the St. Joseph Lead Company in 1864. The Renco Group acquired the company from The Fluor Corporation in 1994 and renamed it the Doe Run Resources Corporation, registered to do business as The Doe Run Company.

A. Bruce Neil Drawing upon three decades of experience in the metals industry, A. Bruce Neil serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Doe Run Company. Appointed president and chief executive officer of Doe Run in 2006, Mr. Neil has charted a new course for the company with an eye on global demand and a strategic plan for future growth. Under Mr. Neil's direction, the company is continually adapting to meet changing customer needs through workforce development, technology and product delivery, product expansion, and resource sourcing. Mr. Neil leads a seven-member executive team responsible for managing Doe Run's four focus areas, including mining, primary smelting, recycling and fabrication. Mr. Neil served as President of Doe Run Peru from September 2003 through March 2006. |
