Unarco Material Handling, Inc. was the first pallet rack manufacturer in the industry and has over fifty years experience in production, engineering and design. Production capabilities include both structural and roll-formed pallet racking for warehouse storage systems and the company presently provides the widest product assortment in the industry including Carton Flow, Pallet Flow, Push Back Rack, Drive In Rack, Pick Modules, Cantilever Rack and Pallet Rack Repair. This wide range of products allows for efficient solutions to warehousing and storage requirements for some of America's largest companies and enables the company to handle the full scope of multi-million dollar distribution facilities from manufacturing to installation and project management.
Pallet rack and storage products are sold through a network of distributors serviced by a group of sales and account managers and a highly responsive customer service staff. Headquartered in Springfield, Tennessee with plants in Lewisville, Texas and Pandora, Ohio, UNARCO is able to service the entire country and minimize transportation costs.
A one-on-one association with customers has been UNARCO's biggest service stronghold. The customer list is lengthy and impressive and includes names such as Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Staples, Amazon.com, Lowe's, Nike, PetSmart, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Canon, UPS, Del Monte, Office Depot, Sears and Autozone.
In addition to the distribution chains across the country, UNARCO has become visible in the showroom floors of home center stores such as Lowe's and Home Depot as well as Wal-Mart retail stores. Customer care and close attention to details for multiple store deliveries and retail's tight timelines have allowed UNARCO to grow along with this retail market segment.

Gary Slater became President of Unarco Material Handling, Inc. in March 2005 after serving as Vice President, Sales since 1999. He previously worked for Anderson Racking and Cal-Rak, both in California. Slater has been in the material handling business for a career that spans over thirty-five years. As a veteran of the rack industry, he brings industrial marketing and management experience to Unarco and has worked with customers personally on some of the largest distribution centers in the country. He has been involved in MHEDA (Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association) and has served on the board for the RMI (Rack Manufacturer's Institute) and has served on the board for MHEDA and was active in the California chapter of the Material Handling Supply Association. Slater graduated with a B.S. in Business from the University of San Francisco. |
